The following web pages showcase photographs I have taken of butterflies and dragonflies. Because I live in the County of Lancashire, this is included in the title, although most of the pictures tend to be taken in other areas of the UK.  All the photographs have been taken with a Nikon D70 or D80 DSLR camera and a Sigma 180mm macro lens. Older photographs will be uploaded later from when I used Olympus bodies (OM10, 1N, 2 and 4), a Vivitar 90mm macro and print film.

The website is currently under construction and comments and feedback would be appreciated. Too date, I've never received any feedback, please let me know if this is viewing correctly!

The pictures have been reduced on average to 100kb. They are best viewed at 1400x1050, using internet explorer 6 and a adsl connection. The links on the left and right hand side will take you to the species.

 * after species denotes no longer resident or has never occurred.
